Healthy Bang Bang Shrimp
Healthy Bang Bang Shrimp is a lighter take on the classic dish, featuring crispy baked shrimp coated in a tangy, spicy Greek yogurt-based sauce. Its a delicious and guilt-free way to enjoy this favorite seafood appetizer
Ingredients:
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp Sriracha sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
- Sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C
To make the Bang Bang sauce, put Greek yogurt, Sriracha sauce, honey, and lime juice in a bowl and mix them together
Put away
Put the cornmeal, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a different bowl and mix them together
After dipping each shrimp in the flour mix, shake off the extra
Put the shrimp on a baking sheet that has been lightly sprayed with cooking spray and lined with parchment paper
Spray a little cooking spray on top of the shrimp
The shrimp should be cooked all the way through and the coating should be golden brown
After the shrimp is cooked, toss it in the ready-made Bang Bang sauce until its well covered
Before serving, top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds
