Meatball Sub Casserole
This Meatball Sub Casserole combines all the flavors of a classic meatball sub into a comforting casserole dish. Its perfect for a cozy family dinner or a crowd-pleasing potluck.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put the egg, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, and ground beef in a bowl and mix them all together well
Put the mix in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish that has been greased
Add marinara sauce to the meat mixture and spread it out
Spread the mozzarella cheese out evenly on top of the marinara sauce
Add slices of pepperoni and cubes of French bread on top
After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the meat is done
Before you serve it, let it cool down for a while
