Tuna Burger with Fresh Tomato Salsa

These Tuna Burgers with Fresh Tomato Salsa are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. The tuna patties are packed with flavor and pair perfectly with the zesty and refreshing tomato salsa. This burger is a seafood lovers delight

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh tuna steak, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put chopped tuna, breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, cilantro, egg, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Take the mixture and shape it into 4 burger patties

Warm up the pan or grill over medium-high heat

The tuna burgers should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them

Make the fresh tomato salsa while the burgers are cooking

In a separate bowl, mix the diced tomatoes, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper

Cook the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are crisp

Put the tuna burgers on the buns and add a lot of fresh tomato salsa to the top of each one

Serve right away and enjoy
