Perfect Prime Rib
The Perfect Prime Rib is a juicy, tender, and flavorful holiday or special occasion dish that has been around for a long time. Aromatic herbs and garlic are used in this recipe to make a crust that is both tasty and keeps the inside soft and juicy.
Ingredients:
- 1 4-6 pound prime rib roast
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 450F 230C
To make a paste, put minced garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary in a small bowl
Cover the prime rib roast with the paste and rub it all over
Put the roast on a rack in a roasting pan so that the rib side is facing down
Put the food in an oven that has already been heated for 15 minutes
After that, lower the heat to 325F 160C
For medium-rare, keep roasting until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the roast reads 120F 49C
This should take about 22
5 hours
Take the roast out of the oven and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes before cutting it
Cut and serve
Have fun
