Perfect Blackened Pork Chops Keto Low Carb
Ingredients:
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Start by heating the oven to 400F 200C
Add onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and salt to a small bowl
Mix the spices together
This is your spice rub for grilling
Cover both sides of each pork chop with the blackening spice rub
A skillet that can go in the oven should have olive oil in it
For two to three minutes on each side, sear the pork chops until they get a nice crust
Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated
Bake for another 12 to 15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145F 63C
Take the pork chops out of the oven and let them rest for a few minutes
