Salmon Avocado Sushi Burger

A fusion twist on traditional sushi, these sushi burgers feature fresh salmon and creamy avocado sandwiched between layers of seasoned sushi rice and nori seaweed.

Ingredients:

  • 200g sushi rice
  • 2 nori seaweed sheets
  • 200g fresh salmon fillet, thinly sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sushi vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Follow the directions on the package to cook the sushi rice

Then, add the sushi vinegar and sesame seeds and mix them in

Wait for it to cool down

Put a piece of plastic wrap on a flat surface

Then, put half of the sushi rice on the wrap and press down hard to make a round rice patty

Do it again with the rest of the rice

On top of each rice ball, put a sheet of nori

Put avocado and sliced salmon on top of one nori sheet

Add the second nori sheet on top to make a sandwich-like shape

Each sushi burger should be tightly wrapped in plastic wrap

Then it should be left alone for a few minutes to set

Add mayonnaise, wasabi paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil to a small bowl and mix them together to make a sauce

Take the sushi burgers out of the wrapper and add the sauce on top

Serve right away and enjoy
