Cavatappi Parmesan Pasta Easy

For busy weeknights, this Cavatappi Parmesan Pasta is a great quick and easy meal. The creamy Parmesan sauce covers all the turns and twists of the cavatappi pasta, making a meal that the whole family will love.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz cavatappi pasta
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Cook the cavatappi pasta according to package instructions until al dente

Drain and set aside

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat

Add minced garlic and saut until fragrant, about 1 minute

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer

Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it melts and the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Add the cooked cavatappi pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the creamy Parmesan sauce

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot
